CORVALLIS, Ore. – Redshirt sophomore Liam Henshaw already put the Sun Devil men's track and field program on the scoreboard at the Pac-12 Championships with less than a week to the start of the team competition.
The Eugene, Oregon-native finished sixth at his first-ever conference decathlon competition this weekend at the Whyte Track and Field Center on the campus of Oregon State. His 6,606-point total earned him three points and a small yet early lead on the University of Arizona in the Territorial Cup® point race.
Henshaw wrapped up day one of the competition in seventh place with 3,425 points, but rallied to pick off Washington's Cole Jensen, who had over a 400-point lead on the Devil entering the final day.
