ORLANDO, Florida - Ilze Hattingh's phenomenal ASU tennis career came to a close Monday morning in Orlando, Florida when she lost in three sets to No. 3 Emma Navarro (Virginia) in the second round of the NCAA Singles Championship. Hattingh leaves ASU a two-time doubles All-American and twice-time Pac-12 Second Team honoree.
"I'm super proud of Ilze today despite not getting the win," head coach Sheila McInerney said. "[Associate head coach Matt Langley, volunteer assistant coach Jordan Gobatie] and I could not have asked for more from Ilze.
