Carl Crawford and Shiela Reyman are dressed to cheer for Arizona State. That's what they long to be doing, like they have for many years as football season-ticket holders.
"We just want to root for ASU," Crawford said. And, Reyman said, celebrate the renovation of Sun Devil Stadium, which ASU officials say will exceed design standards required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
That should make it easier for Crawford, who is quadriplegic, and Reyman, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, to attend ASU football games. Because of a steep price increase to sit in the only seats they say are suitable for them, neither expects to be attending games in the fall nor does Crawford's brother, Robert Gower, or Don Thompson, all of whom are being displaced from handicap sections for roughly 200 formerly located in the north end zone that offered shade and fans.
