TEMPE, Ariz.- After being named the Pac-12 Player of the week yesterday, junior catcher Maddi Hackbarth added another weekly honor today, earning USA Softball Player of the Week honors announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon.
"I couldn't have done this without my teammates," said Hackbarth. "Thank you to USA Softball for the honor, and a special thank you to my teammates and coaches for helping me get to this point. While I am proud of what I was able to accomplish this past week, I am even more proud of the fight we showed as a team.
