Gym Devils Improve On Vault And Floor To Open Pac-12 Slate

TEMPE, Ariz. – The Arizona State gymnastics team improved on their vault and floor performances in the Gym Devils’ Pac-12 opener against the Washington Huskies on Monday night at Wells Fargo Arena. Despite the improvements, the Huskies came out on top, winning the dual meet 194.650 to 192.450.

With upgrades on vault by seniors Taylor Allex and Carissa Kraus, the Gym Devils scored a season high of 48.500. Allex led the Gym Devils and tied her career high with a 9.900, the highest score of the meet. After the first rotation the Gym Devils led the Huskies by a score of 48.
