Arizona State secured a coveted victory over a top-10 team when the Sun Devils beat No. 4 Washington 13-7 on Saturday night in Tempe.
The Sun Devils took a 13-0 lead into halftime and withstood several Washington second-half drives - two of which ended in missed field goals - to hang on for the win.
It was Arizona State's second victory over a ranked opponent in as many games in Tempe, after the Sun Devils beat No. 24 Oregon 37-35 in late September.
Washington makes it close
Washington finally got on the scoreboard with 5:32 left in the game, thanks to a 1-yard rushing touchdown by QB Jake Browning.
