Former USC starting forward Ja'Tavia Tapley is joining Arizona State women's basketball as a graduate transfer.
The 6-foot-3 Tapley started 26 games as a junior for USC, averaging six points and five rebounds per game.
She fills a need for ASU, which is losing starting posts Kianna Ibis and Charnea Johnson-Chapman and backup post Sophia Elenga.
"She fits with our team, that checks box No. 1," ASU coach Charli Turner Thorne said. "She fits our culture and will be a good teammate.
"She's strong and athletic with a nice shot, finishes around the rim and is a good rebounder.
