Days from a tryout with the Cincinnati Bengals, former Arizona State linebacker Antonio Longino was arrested Wednesday night for allegedly tampering with evidence in a Cleveland homicide investigation.
According to NewsNet5, the ABC affiliate in Cleveland, Longino was taken into custody at the Cleveland Heights police department and held on a $100,000 bond. The Ohio station reported that a vehicle with two bullet holes was towed from Longino's aunt's house Wednesday. A search warrant was served and evidence taken.
Cleveland Heights police told azcentral sports Thursday morning that Longino had posted bail and was released.
