Former Arizona State kicker Josh Plaster has found landing spot — Oklahoma.
Plaster, who will be a junior in the fall, was caught in a logjam of specialists with the Sun Devils boasting depth in special teams, both in placekicking and punting. With all of those individuals potentially returning, Plaster was looking for an opportunity elsewhere.
As a freshman in 2019 he was one of three players who was used in a kickoff role with 30 for an average of 58.6 yards.
The Sun Devils then added a highly touted grad transfer in Logan Tyler from Florida State, who was use for all kickoffs in 2020.
