ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Arizona State beach volleyball squad opened the Eckerd College Battle on the Bay tournament with sweeps over North Florida and Florida Gulf Coast on Friday.
The Sand Devils improve to 5-3 with the two wins today. They have won three matches in a row, the longest streak of the season so far. Arizona State pairs played in six matches that went to three sets today. Katelyn Carballo and Ellyson Lundberg was the only pair to play in two matches today that went to three, winning both for ASU.

In the first match of the day, the Sun Devils won 5-0 in dramatic fashion.
