AMES, Iowa – Richard Figueroa and Shay Addison each earned pin-fall wins and Cohlton Schultz picked up career win No. 98 in the Sun Devils' (4-7, 1-5) 26-15 loss to No. 14 Iowa State (9-4, 4-1) on Friday at the Hilton Coliseum.
Figueroa's pin against Ethan Perryman gave the Sun Devils an early 6-0 jolt, but the Cyclones rallied to win the next six bouts to take a commanding 23-6 lead. True freshman Pierson Manville made his collegiate debut against Carter Fousek, using an aggressive start and a pair of takedowns to take an early lead before Fousek flipped the script with the Cyclones only pin of the night.
