The Arizona State football team didn't get to have much of a 2020 season with it limited to four games due to COVID-19. Well the players, and fans, seem to be excited about what is to come in 2021.
According to Michael Meitin, senior associate athletic director for ticket sales, service and operations, more than 2,000 new season tickets have been purchased even though the Sept. 2 season opener against Southern Utah is still five weeks away.
That is more new tickets than were purchased for the entire 2019 football season. The school has sold 22,000, about 1,000 more than were sold in 2019.
