COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Magdalyn Ewen improved her school record in the indoor shot put and moved up to fifth on the NCAA's all-time list, and Matthew Eckles recorded a new personal best in the pole vault Saturday at the Texas A&M Quadrangular in College Station.
Ewen's mark of 18.67m/61-3.00 moved her from ninth all-time to fifth in collegiate history and increased her lead on the rest of the NCAA this season to more than four feet.
She set the meet record later in the day in the weight throw when she heaved the 20-pound weight 21.
