TEMPE, Ariz. -- Following a stellar showing in her first season of collegiate soccer, sophomore midfielder Eva Van Deursen has been called up to the newly formed Dutch U23 National Team.
As part of her duties with the U23 Team, Eva will assist the full national team for the world cup preparations from May 13th through the 21st, before competing with her team in a Tournament in Sweden, May 28 thorough June 1st.
In her first season in Tempe, Eva was electric as a midfield player. The crafty Van Deursen made her first appearance in the maroon and gold on August 31, against the University of New Hampshire.
