Coimbra, Portugal – Sun Devil Water Polo assistant coach Ethan D'Souza was named head coach of the 2023 World Aquatics U20 Water Polo Championships, the Canadian Water Polo Association announced earlier this year.
D'Souza will lead the Canadian squad comprised of 13 athletes starting on Sept. 8 and going through Sept. 15, taking place in Coimbra, Portugal. Alongside D'Souza, two Sun Devils are members of the Canadian squad, Kat Featherstone and Ashley Ferguson.
The Canadian team is placed in group D and will face France and Chile in the round-robin stage, with the first matchup for Team Canada taking place on Sept.
