TEMPE – Ellen Andrews has been promoted to associate head coach for Sun Devil Volleyball after two seasons as an assistant coach for two of the most successful seasons in program history.
Andrews has been an assistant coach for head coach JJ Van Niel for two seasons, who recently signed an extension through 2029. She helped the program notch a 58-10 record and two NCAA Tournament appearances with three wins. In 2025, she helped the team win its first conference title in program history, becoming the 2025 Big 12 Champion in the first season in the conference.
