TEMPE – The Sun Devils will face their biggest contest of the season thus far this weekend when they head to the Rod McCravy Memorial in Lexington, Kentucky, to take on a field of 17 programs.
The two-day meet is the first true road trip of 2020 for the Sun Devils, and the first trip to the Kentucky-based meet. While the first two meets of the season have been led by the throws group, a new leader will step up this weekend with coach Brian Blutreich's group taking the week off.
Although the star power of two-time NCAA champion Sam Noennig and NCAA shot put leader Turner Washington will be absent in Lexington, the Devils will send a handful of athletes who have also started their 2020 campaigns on a high note.
