SAN DIEGO– Sun Devil Lacrosse's (3-1) undefeated run to open the season came to a halt after a 21-12 loss to Denver (2-2) in San Diego on Friday. Despite ASU scoring five of the first seven goals in the first frame, two scoring runs by the Pioneers totaling 14 goals was the difference in the loss.
ASU stays on the west coast to take on former Pac-12 foe USC on Monday, February 24. The game is slated to start at 2 p.m. AZT and can be viewed on Big 10+.
How it Happened:
Teagan Ng and Lydia Oldknow combined to score three goals to open the game before DU managed to get one of their own with 4:26 remaining in the frame.
