TEMPE – In a brisk home opener under the bright lights at Farrington Stadium, the No. 22 ranked Sun Devils couldn't mount a comeback against BYU on day one of the Littlewood Classic. Arizona State (4-2) was unable to overcome the early six-run deficit as they fell to the Cougars (3-2), 10-5 Thursday night.
Jazmine Hill returned to form with her first multi-hit game of the season, including her first home run of the year. Jordan VanHook continued her fast start with a home run and a single to notch her second multi-hit game of the year.
