Santa Cruz, Calif. – The No. 7 Arizona State men’s golf team sits in ninth-place after one round of play at the 70th annual Western Intercollegiate, hosted at the par-70, 6616-yard Pasatiempo Golf Club.
Carding a cumulative 7-over 367, the Sun Devils are 16 shots back of clubhouse leader Oregon (-9).
Jared du Toit and Max Rottluff are the among the top-10 individuals through 18 holes of play, each closing the afternoon at 3-under 67. Tied for third overall, the pair entered the clubhouse as just 2-of-13 players in the field of 92, to post rounds under-par.
