SAN FRANCISCO – Junior center forward Nicole Douglas was named the Pac-12 Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the week after scoring five goals in two games, including a hat trick against New Mexico State in the season opener over the weekend.
In the first conference weekly awards of the season, Douglas represented the Sun Devils. This is the first time an Arizona State player earned the nod for the Pac-12 since Cali Farquharson in November 2015.
Douglas had a stellar opening weekend to her junior campaign. In the first match of the season, ASU defeated UTEP, 3-1, with help from two Douglas goals.
