Fullerton, Calif.– Arizona State softball opened its second straight road trip of the season with back-to-back victories in its first day of the Judi Garman Classic. The Sun Devils scored a total of 18 runs in 24 hits and six home runs over Kansas and Cal Poly.
No. 23 ASU tallied nine hits and two home runs in a 9-1 (5 inn.) run-rule win against Kansas (8-8) Friday morning. Redshirt freshman Kristiana Watson led the way for the Sun Devils with her fourth home run of the season and had three RBIs for the game.
