CORVALLIS, Ore. – Explosive performances on both sides of the football allowed Arizona State to roll on Saturday, cruising to a 40-24 victory over Oregon State on a cold and foggy afternoon at Reser Stadium.
The victory pushed the Sun Devils (6-5, 5-3 Pac-12) to over .500 for the season and clinched bowl eligibility heading into next week's Territorial Cup matchup. It also marked the seventh time since 2010 that Arizona State will finish the regular season with at least six wins.
Senior running back Demario Richard made his presence known early and often on this day, ultimately totaling 112 yards and three touchdowns.
