Davon Durant Pleads Guilty to Misdemeanor

Arizona State linebacker Davon Durant has pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura reported the update on Durant’s case. Per terms of a deal, according to Maricopa County court officials, the remaining charges against Durant will be dropped at his sentencing.

A junior college transfer, Durant was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct back in March following an incident with his girlfriend in his car. He was subsequently suspended from the team and remains so to this day.

Though the woman, who also happens to be an ASU student later recanted her story, Durant’s status with the team remains unclear.
