TEMPE, Ariz. - With the Desert Hockey Classic on the horizon, the Arizona State Sun Devils (14-6-0) closed out their 2018 home schedule on the highest possible note with a 4-0 shutout of Colorado College Tigers (7-9-2). The win marked the sixth-straight home win for the Sun Devils and the second consecutive series sweep overall.
Junior netminder Joey Daccord was the story, as he has been so many times before, stopping all 31 shots he faced - including 11 in the third period. The shutout was Daccord's fifth on the year - with four of the five coming at Oceanside Ice Arena.
