COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Arizona State freshman center Cullen Potter was one of seven rookies in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference selected to the NCHC All-Rookie Team, the league announced on Tuesday. Potter boasts 13 goals and eight assists for 21 points through 32 games played.
Potter tallied nine goals in conference play, third among rookies behind Sacha Boisvert (North Dakota) and Austin Burnevik (St. Cloud State).His 13 total goals this season is tied 11th overall among all NCHC skaters. The 18-year-old from Minnesota added six assists in conference play to total 15 points in 22 conference games.
