Junior Chun An Yu has put himself in position to challenge for the national title on Monday at the 2019 NCAA Men's Golf Championships held at the challenging and tough Blessings Golf Club (7,550 yards/par-72) in Fayetteville.
He continued his solid play Sunday with a 1-under 70. He is at 3-under 213 (69-74-70) and in fourth, four shots back of leader Matthew Wolff of Oklahoma State (73-66-70) who is at 7-under 209. Yu has stayed in contention by shooting par on the par 4 holes, as only Wolff (2-under) has been better, and Yu has posted 34 pars, just three off the tournament best.
