PHOENIX – Ryan Campos homered and Khristian Curtis shoved 5.2 innings of two-hit baseball in Sun Devil Baseball's 6-4 winning effort against UC Davis Saturday night at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.
Campos finished with his second consecutive three-hit day and extended his team-best hitting streak to eight games. Curtis posted the longest outing of his career, striking out five in the process.
Brock Peery and Jesse Wainscott tossed 2.2 scoreless innings of relief to close the game out, with Wainscott earning his first save of the season and downing all six batters he faced on just 18 pitches.
