TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona State junior center Cohl Cabral has been named to the preseason watch list for the Rimington Trophy, given to the nation's most outstanding center.
The Rimington Trophy is named for Dave Rimington, a two-time consensus all-American with Nebraska and College Football Hall of Fame Inductee. Rimington is the only player to ever win the Outland Trophy twice, an award given to the country's top offensive or defensive lineman.
Cabral started all 13 games for the Sun Devils last season at left tackle, and has now been moved to center under new head coach Herm Edwards.
