TEMPE – Kenzie Brown shook off her first-inning nerves and pitched herself into the ASU record book in a 1-0 win by Sun Devil Softball over BYU on Thursday night in the program's Big 12 opener.
Brown opened the game by walking the first two batters she faced before settling in and posting 18 strikeouts in a two-hit shutout.
