Two weeks ago, the thought of Arizona State upsetting the No. 4 team in the country seemed as likely as Playboy magazine announcing it would stop running nude photos.
Alas, there are lessons to be learned about being left exposed.
Ask Mike Bercovici. The quarterback was sacked 14 times in ASU’s first four games and just twice in the last two. The improvement has contributed to a far more productive offense and is one of several key storylines in the Sun Devils’ big-stage game with Utah on Saturday in Salt Lake City.
“Games are won up front,” Bercovici said.
