Arizona State basketball coach Bobby Hurley will be looking for a new lead assistant this off season.
Rashon Burno, who has been with Hurley for the last six years and has spearheaded ASU's recruiting effort, is leaving to take the head job at Northern Illinois. It was reported by Joe Henricksen of the Chicago Sun Times with the school announcing it as well.
Burno a former player at Depaul, will be introduced by the school on Monday.
"I am extremely excited about this opportunity," Bruno said, in the school's press release. "Going through the process and having a chance to meet with Sean (Frazier), (Senior Associate Athletic Director and Men's Basketball Sport AD) Courtney (Vinson), President Freeman and the Board of Trustees made it that much more desirable for me.
