LEXINGTON, Ky. – Last year, during his second season at Buffalo, coach Bobby Hurley scheduled a non-conference game at Kentucky because he wanted to see what it was like "at the top of the mountain."
Hurley knew the danger.
"Sometimes it's not always good, but we wanted to take our chances," he said of a game that Buffalo led at halftime, but eventually lost 71-52.
A year later, Hurley – in his first year at Arizona State – returns to Rupp Arena with the same intentions. To give the Sun Devils a taste of the big time.
