IRVING– On Wednesday morning, the Big 12 Conference announced the addition of three members– Florida, San Diego State, and UC Davis– who join Arizona State, Cincinnati and Colorado in women's lacrosse. The 24-25 season conference opponents are set for the Sun Devils with the addition of these teams, including head coach Taryn VanThof's former coaching stop at the Florida Gators.
Van Thof praised the additions, "We are excited to welcome Florida, UC Davis and SDSU to Big 12 Lacrosse. The addition brings visibility to Big 12 Lacrosse from Coast to Coast!"
In 2025, the Big 12 Conference will have affiliate members competing for the Conference's postseason championship aside from regular season competition.
