PHOENIX – After leading the Sun Devil Baseball to four wins in the span of a week, Sean McLain has been named the Pac-12 Player of the Week, as announced by the league office today.
McLain was the catalyst for a Sun Devil offense that scored 52 runs in four games, including 31 in the team's series sweep over USC – the most the Trojans had allowed in a weekend series in 43 weekend series since 2018. It was ASU's first sweep over the Trojans since 2012.
ASU also dropped 21 runs on the road at Santa Clara on Monday, the most it had scored in a single game since 2010.
