TEMPE, Ariz. - Redshirt junior linebacker Marcus Ball and senior kicker Zane Gonzalez both earned weekly honors for their performance in a winning effort against UCLA on Saturday, Oct. 8. For Gonzalez, the Pac-12 Special Team's Player of the Week honor marked his fifth career recognition, while Ball earned Pac-12 Defensive Player of the week honors for the first time.
Kicker Zane Gonzalez accounted for 11 of the teams 23 total points in Saturday's win. The Pac-12 all-time points leader connected on three field goals and two extra points against UCLA, and broke the FBS record for made field goals Saturday with his 89th career make.
