Auburn has swiped a coach from Arizona State to lead a women's athletics program for the second time in three years.
Melissa Luellen was hired Tuesday as Auburn's women's golf coach. She replaces Kim Evans, who resigned in May to pursue an opportunity within the university after 21 years as the coach.
Luellen won a national championship in 2009 and accumulated nine top 10 finishes in 13 years leading the Sun Devils. She rejoins Clint Myers as a coworker in the same athletics department.
