@ASUSwimDive’s Lorenz Sets New ASU Record, NCAA Top Time

AUSTIN, Texas – On the final day of the Texas Invitational, the No. 11 Sun Devil men added additional NCAA B cut times, highlighted by Christian Lorenz's 200 breast that not only set a new ASU record but marks the top time in the NCAA this year.

Taking the top seed in prelims into the evening's finals, Lorenz's second-place finish (1:53.54) set new ASU and NCAA marks. Danny Comforti also finished fourth (1:54.37) with an additional B cut. Zach Poti also earned a fourth-place finish in the 200 back (1:40.71).

With Sun Devils in every heat of the 100 free, Cameron Craig (8th), Grant House (12th), and Evan Carlson all swam faster than the NCAA mark.
