TEMPE, Ariz. – The Arizona State women's swim team swept the Washington State Cougars in 13 of 14 events to earn a 174-85 victory in their first Pac-12 meet of the season on Saturday morning at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center.
"We had good energy, people were really racing well," head coach Bob Bowman said. "It was nice to have Cierra Runge for the first time swim for us. Across the board we swam pretty well."
The Sun Devils finished in order at the top of the scoreboard in 7 events – the 1000 free, 100 back 200 fly, 200 back, 500 free, 100 fly, 200 IM and 800 free relay.
