ASU's Quinn Dornstauder posts double-double in Canada victory

Arizona State center Quinn Dornstauder had 11 points and 14 rebounds Sunday in Gwangju, South Korea, helping Canada women's basketball to a 70-65 double overtime win over Hungary at the World University Games.

The 6-4 Dornstauder is going into her junior season at ASU. She, Adut Bulgak of Florida State and Ruth Hamblin of Oregon State led the Canadians with a combined 44 points and 39 boards. Dornstauder went 5-of-11 from the field and 1-of-4 on free throws in the World University opener.

The U.S. women opened with a 80-68 win over Italy. ASU guard Katie Hempen did not play and Sydney Wiese of Phoenix/Oregon State missed her only shot attempt in 2:48 playing time.
