ASU's Patterson: No reason to make big changes

ASU insider looks ahead to Sun Devils spring football.

Arizona State last season put up some of the worst defensive numbers in coach Todd Graham's four years in Tempe.

Although the Sun Devils stood strong against the run, they couldn't stop the pass. They gave up 337.8 passing yards per game, not only the most in the country, but the most in the history of the program.

Result: Graham and defensive coordinator Keith Patterson evaluated everything they did over the offseason, no detail too small. Patterson recently discussed this process with azcentral sports.
