Freshman guard Luguentz Dort could indeed be one-and-done at Arizona State, if reports coming out of his native Montreal, Canada are correct.
The solidly-built 6-foot-4, 215-pound point guard is expected to declare for the NFL draft, according to a story by French Canadian journalist Nancy Audent published late Tuesday night.
Dort averaged 16.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals, earning Pac-12 Freshman of the Year accolades in his debut season with the Sun Devils (23-11, 12-6). He was a second-team Pac-12 selection, the only freshman out of 15 players named, and was one of five athletes named to the All-Defensive first team.
