OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma – Sun Devil Football's Joe Connolly, head coach of Football Sports Performance for the past four seasons, was named a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach (MSCC) by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa), the CSCCa announced Tuesday. This honor is the highest given in the strength and conditioning coaching profession, and the ceremony is the highlight of the association's national conference each year. Connolly is entering his fifth season with ASU in 2022.
Master Strength and Conditioning Coach Joe Kenn, a former ASU football strength and conditioning coach himself, presented Connolly with the blue MSCC jacket on Tuesday May 3 at the Oklahoma City Omni Hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma during the CSCCa's national convention.
