TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State senior running back Jacom Brimhall has been listed as a semifinalist for the 2017 William V. Campbell Trophy, the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame announced on Wednesday. The annual trophy recognizes the top football scholar-athlete in the nation.
A valued member of the Sun Devil offense and special teams, Brimhall was a local star at Mesa Mountain View where he rushed for 3,119 yards and 35 touchdowns the last two seasons of his high school career. After serving a Latter Day Saints mission in Mexico City for two years Brimhall joined the Sun Devils as a walk-on in 2014 and one year later was placed on full scholarship.
