Thanks to a bye week, Arizona State football players injured early in the season won't be missing much — if any — playing time.
Senior Kobe Williams broke the middle finger on his right hand, which required surgery earlier this week. The Long Beach Poly (Calif.) grad had started 30 straight games since arriving as a sophomore, but saw that streak come to an end Friday when he had to be replaced by junior Jack Jones.
Gonzales expects Williams to play in the team's game against Washington State on Oct.
