Junior outfielder Hunter Bishop of No. 5 Arizona State has been named Pac-12 Player of the Week for the third time in four weeks.
Bishop ignited the Sun Devils to their first three-game sweep of rival Arizona since 2009. He hit .400 (4-for-10) with a double, two home runs, four RBIs and eight runs scored. He was also walked six times in the series, four of those coming in Sunday's series finale.
On the season Bishop, a native of Palo Alto, Calif., is hitting .424 (42-for-99) with nine doubles, two triples, 16 home runs, 44 runs scored and 40 RBIs.
