D.J. Foster is much less anxious about his 45 percent drop in all-purpose yards than Arizona State's uneasy fan base.
The ASU senior receiver actually is averaging fewer all-purpose yards (75.0) than at any point in his college career, partly a product of his rushing role diminishing to roughly five carries per game. But his receiving yards are way off too -- from 52.9 per game last season to 47.2 -- and the net result is Foster dropping from No. 30 nationally in all-purpose yards to unranked even in the Pac-12.
"I want to help the team as best as I can," Foster said when pressed on any frustration over his dip in production.
