Throughout an inconsistent offensive non-conference season, Arizona State learned one thing: It can count on Demario Richard.
Through three games, the sophomore running back has been the Sun Devils' biggest offensive force, a threat to break big plays in both the rushing and passing games. In Friday's 34-10 win over New Mexico, Richard totaled 255 yards – 104 on the ground and 151 through the air, one of ASU's greatest statistical nights in recent memory.
"He is one of the hardest-working guys on our team," ASU coach Todd Graham said. "He has probably matured more than anyone on the team.
