Albuquerque, New Mexico – The No. 11 Arizona State men’s golf team for a second-consecutive outing posted the team low-round collecting a day-two cumulative eight-over, 296. The Sun Devils by virtue of Tuesday’s round, not only retained the top-spot but saw their lead grow to 15 strokes.
Coupled with challenging wind and course conditions, the par-72, 7555-yard UNM Champions Course yet again tested the quality 14-team field, playing at 79.91 average.
Sun Devil senior Jon Rahm represented the only player in the field of 75 to register a round under-par, signing off on a one-under 71.
