LAS VEGAS—After going 4-0 in the opening day of competition on Friday, Arizona State wrestling’s freshman Tanner Hall will wrestle in the heavyweight semifinals on Saturday at the 34th Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite at the Cashman Center.
The championship semifinal matches are set to begin at 10 a.m. PT on Saturday, and Hall will take on Minnesota’s Michael Kroells. On the other side of the bracket are Virginia Tech’s Ty Walz and Oklahoma’s Ross Larson.
Hall opened his day in the round of 64, beating out Pac-12 foe Spencer Empey of Cal Poly in a 6-2 decision.
